  • TIDE, TDS, and ORS Offline for Hardware Updates

TIDE, TDS, and ORS will be unavailable from 8 p.m. CT on Friday, July 14 until 8 a.m. CT on Monday, July 17 for hardware updates. All systems will be available again starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 17. Additionally, ORS will be in “read only” mode all day on Friday, July 14. • Race/Ethnicity Coding

Two race/ethnicity categories were incorrectly reported in the data posted in the Online Reporting System on April 21. Students who should have been reported as “White” were reported as “Pacific Islander” and students who should have been reported as “Pacific Islander” were reported as “Unknown.” This has now been corrected, but any reports that include the race/ethnicity variable and were run prior to May 10 will have the wrong results for these two categories and should be rerun. This issue does not affect the Individual Student Reports. Those reports do not include race/ethnicity information.

  • Submitting ELPA21 Tests

If you have any concerns regarding an ELPA21 test or a speaking response recording, please have the student PAUSE the test. Contact the Help Desk for assistance resolving the issue.  Do not submit the test until the issue is resolved. If students are recording speaking responses but there is no sound during the playback of the recordings, please verify that the mute button on the headset has not been accidently engaged.
